After a single album published in 2010, Steel Drums Music Crew retired. The members of the group, C. Owens, L. Lamphear and D. Marchetti are busker artists, and once they managed to record their first (but extremely popular) album, they got separated and went their own ways in life.

As 2016 draws to a close, the three wish that they can get together once more someday, and that they can create an album that surpasses the quality of their first. They hope that the added experience that they have accumulated during the years can be heard by the small group of passionate fans that has been hoping for their comeback.
